Aim: Installation of Hadoop VM on single node.
Requirement: To setup a single node cluster, on your laptop, you need following software:
VMware Workstation
ClouderaQuickStart VM
Procedure:
Step 1: Open the Oracle VMware:
Step 2: Click open Menu from file in the top left corner
Step 3: Browse and Locate the .vmx file and click Next
Step 4: Edit the virtual Machine, Give at least 4096 MB of memory and click ok
Step 5: Start the Virtual Machine
Select the virtual machine and click Start. Wait for all configurations to setup.
