Preamble - प्रस्तावना | Indian Constitution | it2Edu

भारत का सविधान

We, the people of India, make India a sovereign sovereign , 

Socialist, Secular, Democratic Republic 

To make and to all its citizens: 

    social, economic and political justice, 

    thought, expression, belief, religion 

    and freedom of worship, 

    Equality of Prestige and Opportunity 

    to get, 

    and in all of them the dignity of the individual and

    unity and the integrity of the nation 

    To increase the surety fraternity 

With determination, we hereby adopt, enact and surrender this constitution in this Constituent Assembly on 26th November, 949 AD (Miti Margashirsha Shukla Saptami ,  Samvat 2006 Vikrami).
