Which Streams to select after 10th?
After completion of Class 10th, students are advised to choose the right stream as per their interest level. This is a very crucial phase of any student’s life as their upcoming career is dependent on this decision. There are various combinations of subjects that students can take up after 10th. Science (PCM, PCB, PCMB) - After Class 10th, students who wish to take up careers in science-related fields like engineering, medicine, research etc must take up science courses. Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry commonly called PCM, Physics, Chemistry and Biology commonly known as PCB and PCMB which includes these four subjects are commonly taken up science courses after 10th. Students who take them up go on to choose a career as an engineer, technologist, medical officer, doctor, and scientist. Data analysts, statisticians are some other career paths that open up with science courses after 10th. It is not mandatory however that a student who has chosen a science course after 10th cannot take up another stream during graduation.
