| How to migrate a virtual machine From OneNote to another using virtual machine | IndianTechnoEra |
Aim- To perform virtual machine migration from one node to another using VirtualBox.
1.Open Virtual Box.
2.Select the Virtual Machine already created.
3.Select the option File =>Export Appliance.
Select folder icon, then select the destination folder to store the virtual machine image. Give the name for our virtual machine. Click Next button and click Export button.
5.Then delete the virtual machine by right click and select ‘Delete all files’ option.
6.Now virtual machine which we selected will be removed.
7.Select File => Import Appliance option. Select the folder icon and select the same virtual machine image file which is displayed in Virtual Box.
8.Virtual machine is displayed in Virtual Box.
Select the virtual machine displayed and click the Start button.
10.Now the virtual machine of VM1 is displayed. The same user account will be displayed.
11.Provide the same password.
12.Go to the terminal mode.
13.Type the command: ls
14.Now you can see the same file named ‘hello.c’ which is created already. 15.From this we can verify the virtual machine is imported proper in our system.
Result: Virtual machine migrated successfully.
