Test Configurations:
Use Beth Anglin or Tyree Courrege to test configurations.
Log into the mobile app as admin and impersonate Beth or Tyree.
Download Mobile Apps:
Download mobile apps on the testing device.
Follow organization's mobile device management guidelines.
Utilize Update Sets:
Save configurations made throughout the training.
Rebuild applets and configure settings if the instance is reclaimed.
Review and Bookmark Mobile Icons ServiceNow Docs Page:
Ensure icons used are available for mobile apps.
Use provided update sets if applications or list screens are missing.
Lesson 2 - Getting to Know Functions:
Functions play a crucial role in customizing the mobile experience and presenting information to users. Key points include:
Functions are multi-layered with three main categories: Actions, Navigations, and Smart Buttons.
Functions can be configured in two locations: within the Now Platform interface and Mobile App Builder.

Lesson 4 - Functions Configuration:
After creating a function, it needs to be assigned to a screen or launcher screen in order to be used. The majority of function assignments can be completed within Mobile App Builder. The exception to this is the Media function as Media UI sections can only be created in the Now Platform and Field functions.
Function Configuration in Mobile App Builder:
When a function is configured in Mobile App Builder, it always includes the same configuration items.
Name: A name for the function instance that is seen within the instance.
Description: A description that can be used to search for function instances to edit.
Display label: Seen in the app, used to help users identify what the function does.
Order: Defines the order in which multiple functions are seen.
Active: Defines if the function instance is available to users.
Icon: Assigned in limited areas where an icon may be used.
Function: Where the actual function is assigned to the function instance.
Each function instance also includes a section called Function placement, reminding the developer where the function is placed.
