Common Mistakes
- Do not confuse the name of a thing with its describing word.
- Ball names the thing; red describes it.
- Use words that actually describe the thing.
- Remember that one thing can have more than one describing word.
Practice
1. Find the describing word: red ball.
2. Find the describing word: big box.
3. Choose a describing word for a pillow: soft / run.
4. Choose a colour to describe a leaf.
